A comedy by Marie Jones
A major Hollywood studio invades the small, rural village of County Kerry, Ireland to make a mega-hit movie. The stars are being coached on how to be locals and the locals are in the background. Two extra’s on the set deliver hilarious renditions of the people invading their home and the people they love. Winner of the Olivier Award in 2000, Stones in His Pockets features fourteen characters played by two actors, whose role changes occur instantaneously. Barnstormer favorite, Paul Kerry, and newcomer to The Barnstormer stage, Derry Woodhouse (who has performed Stones In His Pockets internationally), seamlessly bring to life over a dozen different characters ranging from trendy movie moguls to slouching Irish underdogs to demanding Hollywood divas. Whenever one of them sits down, there is no guarantee that he'll stand up as the same person!
