WORLD-CLASS SUMMER THEATRE
WORLD-CLASS SUMMER THEATRE
Located in the scenic village of Tamworth, NH, The Barnstormers Theatre is one of the longest-running professional summer theatres in the country.
The company was founded in 1931 by Francis Cleveland, the youngest son of President Grover Cleveland, Francis’s wife Alice, and their friend Ed Goodnow – all of whom were involved with theatre on Broadway.
Today, The Barnstormers is one of three Equity theatres in New Hampshire, providing the region with brilliant summer theatre.
Like most theatres nationwide, ticket sales cover only about half of our costs, so every gift to The Barnstormers is greatly appreciated.
WELCOME TO THE BARNSTORMERS THEATRE!
As we close our milestone 95th year in Tamworth Village and prepare for our 96th season, we celebrate our community, the arts, and the power of live theatre. Stay tuned for our upcoming 2026 Season announcement!
We invite you to be a part of The Barnstormers community and join the celebration.
See you at the theatre!
Jordan Ahnquist
Artistic Director
